  • Climbing Tower of Babel at Lake Moraine: Unfortunately we realized half way up we were climbing the wrong gully, we considered crossing over to the adviced gully but decided to abort due to worening clouds. Of interest Eiffel Peak is in the background which was a great scramble for us last year.

  • Climbing Paget Peak.: This is a highly recomended scramble to an 8400 foot peak just to the north of Kicking horse pass. The first 2/3 of the climb was a nice trail to a fire look out station, after that a rather steep scramble but a lot of view for the effort.

  • Bourgeau valley towards Bow Valley from whence we came.: This turned out to be a 9 to 10 mile hike each way plus a 5200 foot climb so a good workout for one day. We were glad to have fresh legs having rested the previous rainy day.
